Rocksteady και Warner Bros. Games, επανέρχονται ξανά έπειτα από καιρός απουσίας, έπειτα την απόφαση να μην κυκλοφορήσουν το Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, μέσα στο 2023, όπως αρχικά είχε προγραμματιστεί, έπειτα και το feedback του κόσμου, το οποίο κατέκρινε πράγματα όπως την συνοδεία battle pass στον τίτλο, καθώς και την ”always online” απαίτηση, ακόμη και στο single player.
Η Rocksteady λοιπόν, μας συστήνει μία νέα σειρά από βίντεο, τα οποία ονομάζει ‘‘Suicide Squad Insider”, και στο πρώτο επεισόδιο, θα πάρουμε μία γεύση από την ιστορία του παιχνίδια, τους traversal μηχανισμούς καθώς και μία γενική εικόνα από την Metropolis.
Η ιστορία του παιχνιδιού ακολουθεί τα μέλη του Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang και King Shark, που βρίσκονται σε αποστολή να σώσουν τη Γη και να σκοτώσουν τους μεγαλύτερους Super Heroes της DC στον κόσμο, το Justice League. Οι villains γίνονται ήρωες και ήρωες villains, στον κόσμο του παιχνιδιού.
Ο τίτλος εκτός των άλλων, θα υποστηρίζει co-op μέχρι και με τέσσερα άτομα, ενώ θα υπάρχει και cross-platform/cross-progression support.
